Crybaby Theatre is a theatre company that produces live events and shows to bring people together. I started this company because I am a crybaby. It’s a super cool way to be and dry bi***es wish they cried like me. I wanted to be a part of theatre that helped us all cry, and if not cry then laugh, and if not laugh then ... Oh... wow nobody is laughing. Okay, anyway, I just wanted us all to feel a release. And feel it together in a singular space and moment, you know?
Mandate
Crybaby Theatre is dedicated to fostering a community that centres audiences’ experiences. Exploring viewers relationships to each other and to performers, we produce work that challenges audiences and allows emerging creators a space to play with form and structure. This is theatre not just to sit and watch, but to sob at, guffaw at, spit at, kiss at.
