I am Miriam Sossin, and I am obsessed with theatre’s power to impact the way we understand ourselves and everything around us. I am an emerging playwright, director, and producer passionate about telling heartfelt and comedic stories. My directing practice centres lots dramaturgical research, analysis, and collaboration. I create environments at my shows in which audiences and performers can share an intimacy and catharsis through the work. I am fascinated by the way opposing emotions interact with each other, and search for opportunities to evoke these contradictory states of being.
